Adult All-In-One Course: Lesson-Theory-Technic: Level 1

I use this book of piano lessons began to take in early January. I wanted to learn to play the piano all my life and now at 40, I decided to do. This book makes it very easy, as all ways! The rhythm is constant, I look back now on the songs, at first I had problems with them and are so easy! The combination of heating and songs are appropriate. I recommend this book!

I used to play the clarinet in middle school. Now, I’m 18 and have been while the notes I have not read. Playing guitar for six years, literally destroyed my ability to read things because it will always be there instead. But finally I was bored with the guitar and decided to elect a new leadership and fresh – the piano!
This book is well written, and leaves no holes. In a few days I found myself relearning everything I had forgotten years before the kind of band, and I reached the point where they know more than me! And I have not even finished the book yet!
In addition, the evidence on the theory and technique. Please complete sections of the book, which really helps you get involved with what your learning.
A reviewer downrated this book because of the choice of song and its accompanying CD. I think this is wrong. I think the song choices are as good as anyone. If the pieces are familiar, then it would be so difficult to learn. And as for the CD. . . I realized that the piano pieces are rather quiet, but always thought it was because it was a long game CD (which is what I use it as is). It is as good as it should.
In addition, the songs become more interesting as it progresses, some of the last pieces of “Greensleeves”, “Scarborough Fair”, “The Entertainer” and “Amazing Grace “(written in a manner so that each hand is to be doubly occupied). And at the end of the third book in the series, will play some of the most popular pieces of Beethoven as “Fur Elise” and “Moonlight Sonata”
– something I concern when I bought this book: Do you need a piano track full? The answer is. . . No! A considerable keyboard will do you good. However, it can not be looking to buy a real piano, when you go to these lessons. . . because this series really inspire and nurture a love for this incredible instrument.
If you want to learn the piano and can not afford a teacher, do not have time for one, or simply Read more on their own – it a must-have aid their learning.
Good luck and I wish him luck in his learning!

Well, I am a “middle age”, and for years has wanted to learn to play an instrument and be able to read music. Firstly, it started with the violin because I really liked the instrument, but no farther because he was too much at once (violin + music playback).
Anyway, recently took advantage of Alfred Piano in connection with a keyboard, especially to teach me to read music. The piano is a learning tool more than anything. But this book has sparked my interest in piano! I really enjoy “playing” the lessons (the keyboard, too).
In general this is a great book that combines experience, theory and technique. . That’s exactly what I wanted. If you order the book, I recommend getting the book / CD combo.

A month ago, I decided I wanted to learn to play the piano. I play the guitar for almost 5 years, but had no experience with playing music or vocational training, and as I want to start recording some songs soon, I think it would be good to have some knowledge the piano.
I chose this book based on other tests, and convinced me. Well, I am using this book for about two weeks and could not be happier! It is ultra-wide, and begins simply but moves quickly. I like the exercises in the book, which helped a lot with reading notes (well I’m learning!) I’m almost to page 40 (over 150, I think.) Repeat the songs are funny, and not I think everything I learned in the limited time I practiced.
If you want to learn to play piano, buy this book! I can not say if it is a substitute for a good teacher, because I’ve never had one, but if you are motivated and prefer to work at their own pace (and thus enjoy learning more!) Paper I would recommend it 100%! < , br />
I hope this helped!

This book is for adult beginners who started playing the songs immediately. It uses a Middle C approach, however, do not worry because I think it makes it more difficult to play later. I teach piano to all ages and found that the use of the Music Tree series (for adults and children) to my students reading music easy time. When using a Middle C approach, are associated with the names of the fingerings for notes and have difficulty in saying that 2 of space in the treble clef is an A (and so on). Re-learn to read music is always frustrating. That said, I think that adults find it easier to break this habit, then I would not buy this book. There is also a theory about this, which is a plus. I would say is good, not great.
