David Carr Glover Method for Piano covers all the basics for the beginner piano students. It's simple enough to be used by students of elementary-age is still quite complete for an adult to learn to play piano for the first time too.

I specific comments on the book two, because I think he has the greatest variety of concepts, in particular, triads, chord progressions, and keys minor. Despite the wide range of new ideas for new actors in this book, the concepts are easy to learn because of the nature of the presentation. Glover writing is clear and the choice of songs (many written by him and / or Jay Stewart, who co-wrote the book) are appropriate for the skill level of the player and show new ideas in a requiring compliance, but not to overload the student.

I recommend picking up the book for this show (and other works of Glover) for additional practice. Do not use the theory of technical books with it (I think it may be other supplements as well) and can not comment, but the book gives students the performance of exercises that are more difficult and contribute to enriching concepts of the lesson book.

There are many methods of piano there, but it's best to explain the concepts and providing appropriate exercises in relation to the ideas introduced.Rating: 5 / 5
