How come I can only play piano by ear?
Like, I know how to read music. And when I play the guitar, clarinet and flute every time I watch the música.Pero with the piano, it bothers me to see music, so I just play by ear and sounds “Perfect” If I recall Beethoven was deaf. . . and composes his own canciones.Yo not write my own songs, and listen reproducirlos.Así veo.Sentido the comparison does not think I was 6 years old and I am now 15
I haven’t played for years.. but that’s the only way that I could play. In my eyes, we are naturals.
your lucky the only way i can play is with my fingers lol
You might just be someone that has a talent for playing by ear. But sometimes it’s necessary to play with music. Maybe if you start taking piano lessons your teacher can work with you and teach you to read the music as well as improve your playing by ear.
It’s a brain thing. Like right or left brained MAYBE. Some people have the talent/skill to play music through listening. You could play with sheet music too. You may do better with hearing though.
are you claiming to be the 2nd Beethoven?
hmm i dunno why that is.
but its the same way with me
only,i can also play the guitar and bass by ear.
hmm u sound quite talented.
good luck with ur music!
You can’t read music because you are right minded.
I think it’s a matter of eye hand coordination. When you are reading clarinet music , you are reading one line of music. when looking at piano music you are: 1 looking at right hand and left hand.2 either hand has the potential to play 5 different notes. 3 The notes on either hand can be playing different rhythms…oh and usually they play in different clefs. I think its just a matter of “doing” or the dreaded practice…for years and years.
maybe you have Perfect Pitch ?
for how long do you play ? (piano)
I have students who do that. What they usually find when they come to lessons is that “perfect” was actually only perfect to them, because it sounded like what they remembered…. not necessarily what was on the page. Usually there will be missed rests, or incorrect rhythms or notes. An attentive teacher would have caught this and broken this habit with you a long time ago by covering your hands while you play, etc. Also by never playing a song for you… making you learn it by reading the notes on the page without knowing what it’s going to sound like. As far as classical music goes, you will hit a point eventually (if you haven’t already) where you simply can’t get away with cheating like that.
