How do I properly learn songs on the piano? Is it convenient, with the right hand by itself first in the left hand by itself, and finally the two? What is the appropriate method?

you need to get piano lessons and learn some simple songs at first.
Well firstly and most importantly, figure out the timing. go through the entire piece, clapping your hands, or tapping the piano for when the RH would play. Then do it again for the LH, then, start with the right hand at an easy speed, watch your fingerings carefully, go through the piece a few times getting faster each time. Then do the same with the LH, then SLOWLY, put them together.

Yes, that’s exactly right. Get the right hand trained to learn it’s part, do the same with the left hand and then put them together.
I use a piano with keys that light up as it plays and allows me to learn at any pace. I learn from MIDI piano files that I download and put into the piano.
