Remember the ad that typically run in countless magazines and newspapers? "They laughed when I sat on the piano … But when I started to play …"? I remember the first time I played the piano for a group. They laughed. It was a disaster. I heard that the leader of "Let's get somebody with the rhythm in which to play." Ouch! That hurt. I never knew who embarrassed like that again, and began to ensure that never was. You know what? Stopped laughing. And do not laugh at my students, either. Why? I always found it interesting to play the piano, but I think I prefer. I do not want to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in it. I prefer to start with something cheap as a keyboard and learn through a book of instruction. What do I need? I was at Target and saw a keyboard with keys less than the style of piano. Is there a difference? I want a real simulation of electronic piano as much as possible. What are the best books to learn? What should I buy? I know nothing about music!
