Is it still possible for me to learn piano?

I took piano lessons and outside of 7 years and 13 years, never had the passion and motivation to learn at the time. But since I left, I learned to play piano by ear and can pick up the strings and keys of songs quickly. I still can not read notes. I am 16 now and I want to learn to play the piano formally by reading notes. It is difficult for me to learn to read notes, now that I’m older and I play by ear?
