What Age Range Should I Teach Piano Lessons?
I took piano lessons for about 5 years and have played almost 10 years. I learned 1A Alfred Basic Piano 5-Level. I am 19 years trying to earn some extra money.
How young children must be trying to teach? Also, what about the adults?
I think Alfred of basic education, because I'm familiar with it.
Since you are new at it I wouldn’t recommend taking on any kids younger than 5. Adults should be fine as long as long as they’re comfortable learning from someone younger than them. I had this problem a few times. I use A Dozen a Day because I learned from it, so you should definitely use what you know. I’m not sure where you live but the going rate is generally $10-15/half hour. Good luck.
finish your own lesson books before teaching anyone else, you still have a book to go in alfred. good luck making $15 when you aren’t done learning your lesson books yet – I have a college music degree and don’t charge that much
I think 8-10 years old.
Not adults… sorry but I think you need to be a little older for adults.
