I’m going to my first piano lesson (technically my second, but first he showed me everything) to do what they teach something about the real lesson of his first piano, I’m afraid and ashamed of myself the mud, so I say you did in your first piano lesson.

Perhaps you need a different teacher. Why don’t you watch the movie, < >

I always wanted to learn the piano but I had a mother who preferred I did housework so I ended up giving it up. Now where I live there is a piano which I never ply. I realize I wasn’t meant for me to learn the piano. I ended up being a writer.

    Everybody ‘mucks’ up.
    Even the greatest piano players.
I’m a violist and even though I managed to play ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ on the viola on my fist lesson it had a number of ’scratches’.
Playing the piano is considered easy already,
I played the piano before and on my first lesson the teacher taught us how to read semibreaves (though I’m not sure in your case) and the ‘rest’ notes and we played some simple tunes.
The teacher will also teach you how to play the piano correctly with your fingers (not flat on the keyboard but slightly raised on your fleshy fingertips).
That’s all I remember about my first piano lesson,
But I’ve since dropped my piano lessons to go for viola lessons.

    Hope this helps!
And just enjoy your lessons :)

You shouldn’t be nervous. My first lessons are usually more like a test, they make me play a couple of pieces, scales, do some sight-reading so they can get a sense of where i am in my piano playing. Then they just go over there review with me and tell me to do that, and this and buy a book, then the first lesson is done. If your still nervous, you should remember that you are the one paying him/her so making little mistakes is not going to mean anything.

Chill. It isn’t going to be bad. At your first lesson, you teacher will familiarize you with the instrument (middle C, how to sit with good posture, how to shape your hands, etc.) You’ll get your first lesson books and that sort of thing, maybe he’ll have you play a simple tune a few times.

… It won’t be cookies and milk and nap time, but starting lessons really isn’t much harder than kindergarten.
